Händl Klaus: Best young writer of the year		[23.3.2004]
Händl Klaus's "wilde - der mann mit den traurigen augen" has been nominated for the Euro 10,000 Mülheimer Dramatikerpreis 2004 as well as it was invited to the Berliner Theatertreffen 2004. In addition to that Händl Klaus is elected best young writer of the year 2003 by Theater heute magazine.

"Begehren": Prémiere of the year		[29.9.2003]
Within a survey among critics by the german magazine "Opernwelt" Beat Furrer's "Begehren (Desire)" - a commissioned work of steirischer herbst festival - was elected to be the "prémiere of the year". Reinhild Hoffmann directed this prelude of "Graz 2003 - Cultural Capital of Europe", the stage design was made by Zaha Hadid.
