Résumé

On Sunday, 15/10 steirischer herbst 2017, which followed the leitmotif Where Are We Now? came to an end.

There were 137 projects and 451 events on 24 days of the festival. The number of visitors was over 50,000 (excluding projects that took place in public space and in media). More than 1,000 artists, theorists and other participants from a total of 49 nations were involved while the percentage of tickets sold for stage productions and concerts again exceeded 90%.

The final numbers will be presented after the end of herbst-exhibition “Prometheus Unbound” on 03/12/2017.

Prometheus Unbound

Where are we now? And how did we get here? To deal with this question, the artists in the herbst exhibition explore the construction of the canon of western modernity.

herbst. Theorie zur Praxis 2017

For the twelfth time already, the herbst magazine accompanying the festival is released. And as always, it is more than a programme booklet that sums up and explains specific works.
